Antony Polo is an accomplished insurance and reinsurance executive with more than two decades of experience in direct broking and reinsurance broking. His career reflects a consistent track record of strategic growth, operational excellence, and leadership across some of Africa’s most respected broking houses.

He began his career in 2002 with Aon Minet, where he spent nearly a decade rising to the role of Associate General Manager. He later served as Head of General Insurance at Zamara, Chief Operating Officer at OLEA Kenya, and General Manager at Aegis Re Ltd, a specialty reinsurance broker. At Aegis Re, Antony oversaw the Kenyan subsidiary’s operations, focusing on specialty lines such as aviation, marine, mining, cyber insurance, bonds, and group life.

Antony’s leadership has been instrumental in building high-performing teams, achieving operational targets, and positioning organizations for long-term success. His expertise extends to special risks including cyber, directors & officers’ liability, marine cargo & hull, aviation, and property and casualty insurance.

Academically, Antony holds a BSc in International Business Administration with a concentration in IT and Finance from United States International University – Africa. He is also a Diploma holder from the Chartered Insurance Institute (London) and has completed numerous specialized trainings in insurance and reinsurance.
